Lakshmi Engineering Works

Over at Plot No. 119/5 in Phase-II of the I.D.A. area in Cherlapally, you’ll find Lakshmi Engineering Works. It’s an industrial spot, so don’t expect anything too polished. We spend most of our time out on the shop floor dealing with metal and machinery. It’s what we know. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the fans hum all day long to keep the heat down. We don't have a team of people answering phones in suits. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to talk when a customer pulls up. We take on all sorts of engineering tasks, whatever people in the local area need doing. Some days are slower than others, and we might spend that time cleaning up the scrap or organizing the bins of bolts. Other days, we are rushing to get everything finished before the sun goes down. Cherlapally is a busy place for businesses like ours, and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. We’ve learned over time that doing things the simple way is usually the best. There is no point in complicating things when a hammer or a lathe can solve the problem. If you need something made or fixed, we’re usually around from morning until late evening. Just look for the gate at 119/5. We are here every day except Sunday, mostly.
