Lahari Impex is located over in Film Nagar, specifically at Plot No. 35A on Road No. 6. Jubilee Hills is a well-known area in Hyderabad, but our day-to-day is pretty much the same as any other trading office. We deal with imports and exports. That means a lot of phone calls to customs agents and tracking shipments that are halfway across the world. Our office isn't anything spectacular, just a functional space where we can get through our paperwork. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed, and you’ll hear a lot of shouting on the phones then. But usually, it’s just the hum of the computers and the sound of someone making tea in the back. We’ve been in this spot for a while. We like being in Film Nagar; it has a bit of character. We don't have a glossy brochure or a team of sales people in suits. We just know how the shipping business works and we try to stay on top of the regulations. It’s a lot of logistics and fine print. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India, just a reliable one for the people we work with. Most of us have been in the trade for years, so we’ve seen all the common problems before. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay organized.
