Slokha Engineering

Our place is at Plot No. 35/B in the Central Bank Colony area of L B Nagar. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of machines or the clinking of metal. It’s an engineering shop, so things are usually a bit oily and there is dust from the grinding. We have been in this spot for some time now. The workspace is filled with different tools and parts we are working on for various projects. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, figuring out how to fix a part or build something that was ordered. Some days are really long, especially when a machine breaks down or a delivery is late. We have a small table where we keep the drawings and some old ledgers. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running full speed. Most of our customers are other local businesses who need specific parts made. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because the work keeps us busy enough. The floor always has some metal shavings on it no matter how much we sweep. It’s a practical kind of life here in the colony. We just show up, do the engineering work, and go home when the job is finished. Sometimes we sit outside for a break when the weather is nice and just watch the traffic.
