L B Engg Works

We are tucked away at Plot No. 47C, on Road No. 4 in the Cherlapally Ida, Phase-1. L B Engg Works is basically a machine shop where we get our hands dirty every single day. The industrial area is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and machines humming in the background. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the atmosphere. We have various lathes and tools spread across the shop floor. Most of us have been working with these machines for many years. We take on different engineering jobs as they come in from local clients. Some are small fixes, others are bigger parts that take a few days to get right. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist or anything. You just walk in and find someone in overalls to talk to. Cherlapally is a good spot for us because of all the other small factories nearby. We help each other out with tools sometimes. Our workspace is organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing. People find us because we’ve been here at Plot 47C for a long time. It’s about doing a decent job on the metalwork and getting it back to the customer. The days go by fast when you’re busy with a complex project. It’s just how we live and work here in the Ida.
