Srinivas Industries

You can find us over in Kukatpally, at H No 2/26 in the Bagh E Ameer area. Srinivas Industries is a small industrial setup. It’s not one of those huge plants you see on the outskirts; we are right here in the mix of things. The traffic in Kukatpally can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the street. Inside, it’s all about the machines and the metal. We make various parts and do some light manufacturing work. It gets quite loud and hot inside, especially during the afternoons. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small corner with a table where we keep the logs and the bills. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the machines better than we know our own cars. It’s the kind of place where you wear old clothes because you’re going to get grease on them anyway. We don't put out brochures or have a website. People just know we are here at H No 2/26 if they need something made or fixed. It’s a simple way of doing business, based on just being there and doing the work day after day. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, so we all kind of look out for each other when things get busy or difficult.
