Being in an industrial estate means there is always noise and trucks moving around. We deal with fasteners, so there is usually a lot of metal and boxes everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place, but it's where we do our work. We've been at this plot for a good amount of time. People in the trade know the area well. It's a lot of small shops and workshops all lined up together. Our space is just one of many, but we try to keep things organized enough so we can find what's needed. The heat in the afternoon can get pretty bad under the roof, but we are used to it by now. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually take breaks. It’s just a regular workday for us most of the time. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just supplying what people ask for and making sure the orders are right. If you come by, you’ll likely hear the sounds of the neighborhood shops working away. It gets dusty with all the transport going by, but that is part of being in Kukatpally. We just keep the inventory stacked and ready for whoever needs it next.
