Polmon House is where we work. It’s on Nizampet Road in Hyder Nagar, which is part of the Kukatpally area in Hyderabad. We’ve been in this building for a long time. We make instruments and do a lot of technical work with electronics. It’s a quiet kind of place compared to the noisy shops outside. Inside, you will see people working on circuit boards or testing different pieces of equipment. We have a lot of tools and parts scattered around the rooms. It’s not a perfectly clean showroom. It looks like a place where things are actually being made. The traffic on Nizampet Road is usually quite bad, so we often stay late to let it clear up. We have a small group of engineers and technicians who have been with us for years. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing talk. We just focus on making sure the instruments we build work the way they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to troubleshoot a problem for hours until it’s fixed. We drink tea together in the afternoons and talk about the work. It’s a very practical environment. We don't try to look like a huge tech company. We are just a local business in Hyderabad that knows its way around instrumentation. We just take it one project at a time and do our best. It’s a steady job that keeps us focused on the details every day.
