Kuber Electronics

We’ve been tucked away in Giriraj Lane for quite some time now. It’s right off Bank Street in the Koti area. If you’ve ever been to Koti, you know how packed the lanes can get with people and shops. Our shop, Kuber Electronics, is small but we pack it with as much as we can fit. We mostly handle components and small electronic gadgets. It’s the kind of place where people come when they are looking for a specific part that the big malls don't carry anymore. My father started this and now I spend most of my time here behind the counter. The walls are lined with drawers full of tiny screws, resistors, and capacitors. It can be a bit dusty sometimes, I'll admit that. We don’t really have a cleaning crew or anything like that. We just sweep up at the end of the day before locking up. The lane is narrow so it’s mostly foot traffic coming through. We know the other shop owners around here very well. We often share lunch or borrow change from each other when things get busy. It’s a tight community in Koti. We don’t do any big marketing or advertising. If you need a radio fixed or a new remote for your TV, you just find your way to our door. Sometimes the lights flicker but that’s just the old wiring in this part of town. We just keep going. It’s honest work and it keeps us going.
