K . G & N Engineerings Works is tucked away at 2-3-721 in Zinda Tilismath Nagar, over in Amberpet. It’s a local shop where we do a bit of everything related to engineering. The space is a bit tight because we have quite a few machines squeezed into the floor area. There is always a layer of fine metal dust on the windows and the shelves. We've been in Amberpet for a long time and know most of the people on this street. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name painted on the door in blue. Our work involves a lot of manual labor. We fix engines, weld frames, and sometimes make custom parts for people's old machinery that nobody else makes anymore. It's a lot of hands-on work. The lighting isn't the best, so we use portable lamps when we're doing something precise on the bench. We aren't big on formalities here. If you walk in, you'll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in some grease or grime. We take breaks when we can and sit outside for tea in the afternoon. The neighbors are used to the clanking sounds coming from our shop by now. It's a simple operation. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. It's just us working with our hands and getting the jobs finished. Zinda Tilismath Nagar is home.
