K B Engineering Works

Our small office is at 11-177/1 in Valmiki Nagar. K B Engineering Works has been operating out of Fathe Nagar for a good bit of time now. It’s a crowded area, but it feels like home to us. We handle all sorts of engineering jobs that people bring in. It might be a small part or something a bit bigger, we don’t really discriminate much. The space is a bit cramped with all the drawings and pieces of metal lying around the floor. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clear spot on the desk to write a receipt, but we manage somehow. People come in from the neighborhood mostly. We know the tea seller nearby very well because we drink a lot of it while discussing how to solve a technical problem. It’s not a corporate setup at all here. We just have our tools and our knowledge of how things work. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them before we can even start on the work for the people who come in. That’s just how it is in this line of work. We try to be fair about things. If we can do it, we say so. If we can’t, we’ll just tell you that straight. It’s easier that way. It’s a busy street outside, so there’s always noise from the traffic, but we’re used to it. We just keep doing our thing here in Fathe Nagar day after day, year after year. It’s steady work.
