Our place is tucked away on Allapur Road, right near Padmavati Nagar and Borabanda. If you know the area near Puram, you’ve probably passed by us without even noticing. It’s a busy part of town and the traffic can get really backed up in the evenings. We’ve got a small setup here where we handle all our daily business. Most of the time, the floor is covered in paperwork or small parts that we are trying to organize. The building is older, so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our day talking to people who come in from the surrounding streets. It gets loud with the horns honking outside, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of plastic chairs and an old table. My brother and I usually take turns going out to get lunch from the stalls nearby. The monsoon season is the hardest because the road outside tends to flood a bit, making it tough for anyone to visit. We just keep the doors open and do what we can with the space we have. It’s not a big corporate office, just a local spot where we put in our hours every day. We know the shopkeepers next door and we all look out for each other.
