Being up on the 6th floor of Taj Enclave here in Kairatabad gives you a decent look at the traffic below. It is a busy building, and the lift can be a bit slow especially during the lunch hour when everyone is heading out. Our office is room 609. It’s not the biggest place, but we have enough room for the desks and the computers we need. The agency life is mostly just a lot of phone calls and looking at screens. We have stacks of old newspapers and magazines in the corner because we never seem to throw anything away. Kairatabad is always moving, and you can hear the horns even from this high up. Sometimes the AC makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a coffee machine that does everything. Usually, someone just goes downstairs to the stall for chai. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The walls are covered with some old posters and calendars. Some days are very quiet where you just hear the clicking of keyboards, and other days everyone is talking at once. It gets a bit messy when we have a big project going on, with papers scattered everywhere. People come in and out, mostly folks we have known for years. It’s just a regular office where we try to get things done without too much fuss.
