Started this out of the flat here in Manasa Nest. It’s on the third floor, number 309. Moula Ali is where we spend most of our time. Usually, the phone starts ringing early about some hoardings or maybe a frame that got loose somewhere in the city. We have a small crew that goes out with the ladders and the vinyl sheets. It gets pretty hot out there during the day. Sometimes we stay up late finishing a design or checking the lights on the big boards near the main roads. M. J. Colony is a quiet place most days so it’s good to have the office here. People walk by and ask what we do. We just tell them we handle the big signs you see while driving. It's not fancy work. There’s a lot of climbing and making sure the glue stays put. Sometimes the rain messes things up and we have to go back and fix it all again. We’ve been here for a while now. The space is a bit cramped with all the rolls of paper and tools lying around. You get used to the smell of the ink after a bit. My desk is right by the window where I can see the street. We just try to get the work done before the sun goes down. It's just a regular business keeping things moving in the outdoor space. We take the orders and get them up on the poles.
