We’ve been over here at Plot No 26 in Ida Phase I for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in through the gates. The surveyor number is 298/Part, just in case anyone gets lost looking for us, though most people around here know the building by sight. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done every day. Some days it’s loud with the machines, and other days it’s just the sound of someone sweeping up the floor after a long shift. We mostly stick to ourselves and focus on the work right in front of us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn’t stop the output. My brother and I started this after working for someone else for years. We wanted a place of our own where we didn't have to deal with too much red tape. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the local neighborhood who walk or bike in. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the road. Sometimes the power goes out in Phase I, and everything goes quiet for an hour, so we just sit outside on the plastic chairs and talk. It’s just how things go around here. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the orders moving and the bills paid.
