B B S Precission Engineering Works

Out at Plot No 41, things are usually pretty loud because of the machines running all day. Our workshop is at H No 35 340, and it is a place where we deal with a lot of metal and precision parts. The floor is usually covered in some amount of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We have a few different lathes and milling machines that we use for the engineering work. It takes a steady hand to get the measurements right, and sometimes we have to redo things if they aren't just perfect. My clothes always smell a bit like machine coolant and grease, but that is part of the job. We don't have a fancy showroom because the work happens right there on the shop floor. Clients usually bring us a drawing or an old part that needs fixing, and we see what we can do. It gets pretty hot inside the shed during the middle of the day, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear a nice suit. We just focus on the metal and making sure the machines are running the way they should. It is basic engineering work, and we have been doing it this way for quite some time now. Our neighbors are also in the same line of work.
