Jaitra Gifts

Jaitra Gifts is over in Nigam Bagh. It’s a place where things move a bit slower than the city center. I set up the shop here because it’s where I live. The space isn't very big, so I have to be careful about what I bring in. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and dusting the shelves. It’s amazing how quickly dust settles in Nigam Bagh. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people passing by on their way to work. I don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just me and sometimes my nephew helps out when he’s not in school. We have a small table in the back where I wrap things up. The neighborhood is quiet, which I like. I know most of the customers by name. We don't do much advertising; people just know we're here. Sometimes I sit outside on a stool when it's not too hot and watch the street. It’s a simple business. I pick out things I think people might like and put them on display. If they sell, they sell. I don't overthink it. The shop feels like an extension of my home. It’s got that lived-in look, with mismatched boxes and a floor that creaks a little. It’s a good way to spend the day and stay connected to the community.
