Jagadish Engg Works

Jagadish Engg Works is situated at C-10/2/A in the Electronic Complex, over in the ECIL area of Kushaiguda. We are pretty close to the industrial canteen, which is where most of us head for lunch. The workshop is full of lathes, drills, and various metal-working tools. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of scrap metal and half-finished parts lying around the floor. We do a lot of repairs and custom fabrication work. If something breaks on a machine, people bring it here to see if we can fix it. Usually, we can, though it might take a day or two depending on how busy we are. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, so we use portable lamps when we need to see the fine details. It’s a greasy environment, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Kushaiguda for a long time now. We know the other shop owners around the complex. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone tells a friend we did a good job on a weld, and then they show up a week later. We just try to do the work right and charge a fair price. It’s a loud, busy place, but we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines.
