Our company, Integral Automation (Pvt.) Ltd., is set up at B-17 in the KSSIDC Industrial Estate over in Bommasandra. It’s a busy part of the city, and the estate is full of all kinds of workshops and factories. We focus on automation, so our space is filled with a lot of wires, control panels, and tools. It’s definitely more of a workshop than a fancy office. Most of our time is spent tinkering with systems or trying to figure out why a particular piece of equipment isn't doing what it should. Bommasandra is quite a distance from the main city center, but it’s where all the making happens. We’ve been at B-17 for quite a few years now. It’s not the cleanest place—there’s usually some grease on someone’s hands and parts scattered on the benches—but it’s where we get things done. We aren't a huge corporation with layers of management and HR departments. If you call, you’ll probably talk to one of the people who actually works on the machines. We just enjoy the challenge of making things work better through automation. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it nicely over the years. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of technical problems to solve every day. It’s not always easy, and some projects take a lot longer than we expect, but we just keep at it until it’s right. That’s how we operate here in Bommasandra.
