Indian Tarpaulin

Indian Tarpaulin is easy to find if you know where the Big Bazar is in Kompally. We are in Shop No. 2 of the Sonamna Complex, right beside that big store and next to the Indian Oil Petrol Pump. It’s a very busy stretch of road with cars and trucks always pulling in for fuel. We deal with all kinds of covers and sheets. The shop is usually filled with the smell of heavy-duty plastic and canvas. It’s not the most glamorous place, but it serves its purpose for the people around here. We spend hours measuring out lengths of tarpaulin and making sure the eyelets are punched in right. Customers often come in when they realize their old covers have holes or when the monsoon is about to hit hard. We try to keep a good variety of colors, though mostly people just want the blue or the yellow ones. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders to finish, especially with the big truck covers taking up so much floor space. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear anything else, but we get by. We’ve been here at Sonamna Complex for a while and most of the regulars know us by name. There isn't much to it, just a simple shop doing basic work for anyone who needs protection from the weather. We keep the shop open late during the rainy season because that is when things get really busy.
