Rainbow Enterprises

If you walk down Street No 5 in Ida Nacharam, you’ll find us at P No P/8/5. It is a bit of a tight squeeze some days when we have a lot of stock coming in. We’ve been running Rainbow Enterprises for a bit now and it’s always a bit of a juggle. One day it’s quiet and the next day everyone wants something at the same time. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. It’s usually just one of us picking up and trying to hear over the noise of the neighboring workshops. The street gets pretty crowded with delivery vans in the afternoon, so we try to get our heavy work done early. We keep things pretty simple around here. There is a desk in the corner piled high with papers and a few chairs that have seen better days. It is a practical setup. We know most of the other business owners on the block and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra hand. That’s just how things work in this part of Nacharam. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just provide what’s needed and try to keep our head above water. It is hard work, but it is our work, and that counts for something when you lock the door at night and head home for dinner.
