Rainbow Packaging

We’ve been here in Subashnagar for quite some time now, right at 7/77/1 in Ida Jeedimetla. It started out as a small shed with just one machine for cutting cardboard. Now, it’s a bit bigger but the noise is still the same. Most days it’s just us trying to keep up with the orders that come in. Packaging isn't always pretty work. There is dust everywhere and the glue sometimes gets on your clothes before the day even really starts. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a stack of brown boxes higher than your head and someone eating lunch on a stool. Ida Jeedimetla gets really hot in the summer months, so we keep the big shutters open to get some air moving through. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't do much advertising because most people just find us by word of mouth or see the sign when they're driving past the corner. It’s hard work, and my back usually aches by five o'clock, but it’s what we do. Rainbow Packaging isn't a huge name, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and keep the machines running. We just focus on getting the dimensions right so the items fit inside properly without rattling around too much.
