Toli Chowki is always full of life, and our office is right on the main road. Being beside Shah Ghouse Hotel means there is never a shortage of good food nearby, but also never a shortage of crowds. The noise from the street is constant. We are at Door No 2. It’s a straightforward place. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of folders. The floor is a bit worn out from people walking back and forth. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. It’s just the name on the door. Most days we are busy with technical stuff. It gets quite loud during the evening rush hour when everyone is heading home. Sometimes we just sit and wait for the traffic to die down before leaving. The office feels a bit like a second home because of how much time we spend here. There’s a small sink in the back and a cupboard for our bags. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle for making tea. It’s a very practical environment. People come in and out, usually in a hurry. We just try to stay on top of things. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. We have a big map of the city pinned to the wall, though it’s quite old now. The traffic noise is like a background hum.
