Our office at 2-896-412 in Punjagutta is right in the middle of all the chaos. Hyderabad traffic is something else, and you can hear it from our windows all day long. I K C Engineering Pvt Ltd is tucked into this building where the hallways are a bit narrow and the elevator is sometimes temperamental. We spend our hours looking at blueprints and technical specs. It’s an engineering office, so there are rolls of paper everywhere and pens that always seem to go missing when you need them. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or a lobby full of plants. Our desks are practical, and the chairs are the kind that have seen better days but are comfortable enough. We get a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes the office quite bright. Usually, we are too busy arguing over a design or a calculation to notice much else. We keep a stash of biscuits and tea bags in the cupboard for when the work stretches into the evening. It’s a small team, and we’ve grown used to each other’s habits, like who likes the fan on high and who wants it off. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up, do their jobs, and try to make sense of complex problems without making a big fuss about it.
