Sri Vijaya Pack

Sri Vijaya Pack is a packaging place tucked away in the Gandhi Nagar area. We are at Plot 45 in the Co Op I E expansion, which is a bit of a mouthful to say when giving directions. Usually, we just tell people to look for the stacks of cardboard. We started doing this because we saw a need for basic packing boxes and materials for the other businesses around here. The shop is full of tape, corrugated sheets, and rolls of plastic wrap. It isn't the cleanest place because there is always dust from the cardboard, but we keep it organized enough to find what we need. We don't have a mission statement or any of those things companies put on their walls. We just focus on getting the boxes sized right and making sure they are strong enough to hold whatever goes inside. My cousin helps me out with the orders and we have a few machines that do the heavy lifting. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the bigger industrial zones, which I like. We drink tea in the morning and look over the list of things to do. Sometimes it's a rush, other times it's slow. We just take it as it comes. It's an honest way to make a living and we have been here long enough that most of the locals know where we are.
