Hmt Bearings is right here in Moula Ali. It’s an older part of town, but it works for us. We handle a lot of bearings every day. Most of the time, the floor is covered in grease and metal parts, but that's what you expect in this line of work. People come in looking for specific sizes, and we try to find what they need in the stacks. It’s not a quiet place. There is always some noise from the machinery or someone moving crates around. We’ve been in Moula Ali for a good bit of time. The staff here isn't into big corporate talks. We just know how to identify a good bearing and how to keep the inventory straight. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets a bit heavy in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s a straightforward job. You need a part, we see if it’s on the shelf. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a stock list. Most of the guys have been here since they were young. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. We stay busy enough. It’s a local business, nothing more, nothing less. If you walk past our place, you’ll probably hear us shouting over the noise or see a truck parked outside.
