You can find us at No:7&8 in Dr. Radhakrishnan Nagar, right inside Link Plaza on the Poonamallee High Road. Being in Arumbakkam means we deal with the Chennai traffic every single day. The Poonamallee High Road is always packed, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns outside. We are in a fairly standard commercial building. Inside the Hilti (India) Pvt. Ltd. office, it is just a normal workspace. We have some cubicles and a small area where we keep some of the equipment and tools we handle. It is not a very quiet place because people are always coming in and out, and the phone seems to ring non-stop. The walls are a bit plain, maybe a few calendars or charts pinned up here and there. We have a small pantry where we keep the coffee machine, which gets a lot of use in the morning. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we would like. It is a practical location for us because it is easy for deliveries to get to, even if the traffic is a mess. We just focus on getting the orders processed and making sure everything is logged correctly before the day ends. It’s a busy life but we are used to the pace and the noise of the high road.
