Hi-Tech Machinery Corpn

Our place is on R.P. Road, specifically at 5-2-159. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise from the traffic coming through. Hi-Tech Machinery Corpn sounds like it might be a big glass building, but it’s actually a pretty practical workspace. We have heavy machines sitting on the floor, and you have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a cable or a crate. The walls have some scuff marks from moving equipment around over the years. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or responding to people who drop by with technical questions. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see people in suits. Most of us have a bit of grease on our shirts by noon. The lighting is okay, but we often use hand lamps to look into the guts of a machine. We keep a small stove in the corner to make tea because we drink a lot of it while we work. The front door stays open most of the day to let a breeze in, though it brings in some of the dust from R.P. Road too. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us handling the orders and making sure the machinery is where it needs to be. The day goes by pretty fast when there is a lot to move. By the time we shut the heavy doors at night, we’re usually ready for a rest after a long day of working.
