Haritha Trading

Our place, Haritha Trading, is over in Old Alwal at Plot No. 316. It’s actually part of a house, number 562/6, in the Chetana Housing Colony. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main roads but we still stay busy with the trading business. Jonna Banda is a nice enough neighborhood and most of the people around here know us by now. We use the ground floor mostly for storage and handling the daily shipments. My wife helps with the accounts in the evenings when she has time. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a hard time finding the exact house number because the colony layout is a bit confusing if you aren't from here. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and it’s been a learning process for sure. There’s always piles of ledgers and receipts sitting on the table. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. It’s just a regular house where we do our business. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink coffee while waiting for the phone to ring. Other days it feels like we can't move fast enough to keep up. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized as much as possible in a small space like this. It is a simple way of living and working that suits our family just fine.
