Aqsa Engineering Works

Our workshop is at Plot No 23 Part, specifically Shop No 7 8 324/B in Gowtham Nagar, Ferozguda. It is a bit of a complicated address to find if you aren't from around here. We are tucked away near some other small shops and a tea stall. Aqsa Engineering Works isn't a large factory; it’s more of a local shop where we handle various repair and fabrication jobs. The space is pretty tight, so we have to be very organized with our tools and materials. If you leave a wrench in the wrong place, someone is going to trip over it. We have a few welding machines and a lathe that takes up most of the back corner. The front is where we talk to customers and look at the drawings they bring in. It gets quite loud when the shutters are up and we are working on a big piece of metal. Ferozguda is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic and people talking outside. We know most of the other shop owners on the block. Sometimes we borrow a tool from them, and they do the same with us. It’s a good community. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know how to work with our hands and get the job done right for whoever walks in.
