Golla Surya Chandra Rao

My name is Golla Surya Chandra Rao and I run my business right here near the Hyderabad GPO. The 500001 area is right in the heart of the city so it’s always very crowded and noisy outside. I’ve been working from this location for quite some time now. It’s not a big corporate office with a lot of staff. It’s mostly just me handling the daily tasks and meeting people who need my help. Being so close to the General Post Office means I see a lot of people coming and going every day. Hyderabad is a fast-paced city and sometimes it feels like everyone is in a rush. I try to keep my workspace simple and functional. There are piles of papers and files because that’s just the nature of the work I do. I don't spend money on fancy decorations or marketing because most people find me through someone they know or through local connections. It’s a traditional way of doing things but it works for me. Sometimes I have to go out for meetings but I’m usually around the office during the day. The heat in Hyderabad can be intense in the summer so I’m glad to have a roof over my head here. It’s a lot of responsibility running things under your own name but I just take it one task at a time and try to be honest with everyone who walks in. People appreciate having someone local they can talk to directly without any middleman.
