Global Aluminium Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 5-2-196/1 on Distillery Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit industrial with a lot of movement all day long. We’ve got a large yard where the metal gets delivered and shipped out. It’s a noisy place with the sound of aluminum being moved around and the clatter of the machinery in the background. We don't have much of a front office to speak of, just a small space where we keep the invoices and the computer. Most of our time is spent out where the actual work happens. The heat from the processing can get quite intense, especially in the middle of the day, so we all drink a lot of water and try to stay cool. We’ve got a crew that’s been here for a long time, so everyone knows their job without having to be told much. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We wear boots and heavy clothes to stay safe while we work. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on Distillery Road, which can be a bit of a pain for the neighbors, but we try to move them through as fast as we can. We just focus on getting the metal right and getting it to the people who ordered it. It’s straightforward work. We don’t do much in the way of big meetings; we just talk over the noise of the plant. It’s a practical way to run a business in this part of town.
