Our place is located in the Ida Kukatpally area, specifically at Plot No. 62 in Prasanth Nagar. If you’ve been around here, you know it’s a heavy industrial zone, so there’s always a bit of grime and the sound of machinery in the air. We work in biotech, but it’s not as high-tech as the movies make it look. A lot of our time is spent just making sure the batches are consistent and that the equipment is cleaned out properly between runs. We have a small building that’s seen better days, and the roof leaks a little when we get those really heavy monsoon rains, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens, checking samples and writing down numbers in our logbooks. It can get really hot in the warehouse section during the summer months, so we usually have a couple of big industrial fans blowing all day long. We don't have a PR team or any fancy brochures to hand out. We just focus on the bio-products we’re making and try to keep our regular customers happy. Most of our day is just about following the steps and making sure we don't make any mistakes with the mixtures. It’s repetitive and sometimes it’s boring, but it’s a solid business. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in.
