Fouthen Cnc

Our place, Fouthen Cnc, is located over in Kukatpally. Specifically, we are in Prashanth Nagar, not far from the V Mart. It’s a busy little pocket of the city. You can hear the machines running from the street most of the day. Inside, it smells like metal shavings and cooling oil. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and then checking the parts by hand. It’s noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. There are a few of us who work here. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the lane. Usually, we are preoccupied with getting the dimensions right so nothing goes to waste. The floor is always a bit oily no matter how much we sweep. People stop by because they saw the sign or they know someone who knows us. We don't do much besides the work itself. Being near the V Mart makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough room for the gear we need. We stay busy enough. Some days the machines give us trouble, and we spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of running them. That is just part of the job. We like the neighborhood. It feels like a real working area with all the other shops around.
