Our place is tucked away on Moghalpura Sultan Shahi Road here in Hyderabad. The address is 18-7-198/A/290, but most people just look for the landmark near Sultan Shahi to find us. We’ve been doing engineering work in this neighborhood for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of the city, so there’s always something happening right outside the workshop doors. Inside, we have our machines and tools set up for whatever jobs come in that week. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it gets the job done for our clients. We deal with various engineering tasks, mostly mechanical stuff that needs fixing or custom fabricating. The guys in the shop have been with us for years and they really know their way around the old equipment. Sometimes the power goes out, or parts are late arriving, but we just manage it as best as we can. We spend a lot more time on the shop floor rather than sitting in offices. You’ll usually find us with grease on our hands or looking over some blueprints on a scratched-up wooden table. It’s a bit noisy when the machines are running, but that’s just the sound of work getting done. We don’t really do much in terms of marketing or sales; most people find us by word of mouth in the local trade circles. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects we started. It's just a living, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
