Dilip Engg Company

My uncle started Dilip Engg Company a long time ago in this small space at Shop No 5, Block No 4 in Ferozguda. If you know the Bowenpally area, you probably know where the post office is, and we are right near there. It isn’t a fancy place with air conditioning or a big glass front. It’s a real workshop where there is always some noise from the machines and oil on the floor. We spend most of our days working on different engineering parts that people bring in. Sometimes it is a small repair and other times it is something more complicated that takes a few days to figure out. The light in the shop isn't the best in the evening, but we know where every tool is kept. Most of the people who come to us are locals from around this part of Hyderabad. They know they can just walk in and talk to us about what they need. We don’t have a big office staff, just a few of us who handle the work and the customers. Usually, there’s a tea stall nearby where we get our morning break. It’s a simple life here, just keeping the machines running and making sure the jobs get done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner in Ferozguda stays pretty much the same. It is just how we have always done things.
