Dhopeshwar Engineering Pvt Ltd is located at A-16 in the Co-Op. Industrial Estate in Balanagar. It’s a proper engineering shop, so the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being turned on a lathe. We’ve been in this industrial estate for quite a while, and the building has that worn-in look that comes with years of heavy work. We spend our days looking at technical drawings and trying to make parts fit together just right. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we’ve all got grease under our fingernails most of the time. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. We have a small office area, but we’re usually out on the floor where the machines are. Balanagar is a busy hub for manufacturing, so there’s always a lot of coming and going with trucks and other workers. We don't have a marketing team or anything polished like that. We just focus on the engineering and making sure the components we build are solid. Sometimes a project takes longer than expected because a machine breaks down or a part doesn't arrive on time, but that’s just life in a machine shop. We just try to get the job done right and keep our tools in good shape for the next day. It’s nothing special, but it’s what we do.
