Our place is at 522 Gulmohar Avenue, right on Raj Bhavan Road. If you know Hyderabad, you know this part of town gets quite a bit of traffic. We are located here in the middle of everything. It’s an interesting spot to work. The address says Andhra Pradesh 500 082, and even though things change, we are still here. It’s an old-school kind of area. We don’t have any of those flashy glass walls you see in the newer parts of the city. Just a solid building on a busy street. Usually, we arrive and grab a coffee from the stall down the road. The Raj Bhavan Road area has a lot going on, so there’s always something to look at out the window. Deloitte Consulting India is what it says on the door, but to us, it’s just where we show up every morning. We don’t really do big meetings with fancy catering. We mostly just sit around the tables and talk through what’s on the list for the day. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power flickers, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. It feels more like a home than an office. We’ve got some plants that we try to keep alive, though we forget to water them. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories of late nights and long projects. It isn't a place where you'd expect to find a massive consulting name, but we make it work for us. The stairs can be a bit creaky and the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it has character. We spend our time focusing on what needs to be done rather than how the office looks to outsiders.
