Dawood Hardware Mart

We’re located at 4-2-291 on Mahankali Street in the Ranigunj area. If you’ve ever been to Ranigunj, you know it’s one of the busiest places for hardware and tools. Our mart is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things like nuts, bolts, hammers, and whatever else you might need for a building project. It’s a narrow street, so it can get pretty crowded with people and carts moving around. We’ve been here for many years, and the shop has a lot of history. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. You might have to wait a minute while we find exactly the right size of screw you're looking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly; we mostly rely on knowing where we put things. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We talk to our customers, hear about what they’re fixing, and try to give them the right parts. Sometimes the heat in the market is pretty intense, but we have our old fans to keep us going. We’re just a regular hardware store trying to help the local builders and DIY folks who come through Ranigunj every day. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it a long time now.
