Our office is on the third floor of Padmavati Plaza, which is right across from the Kphb Colony bus stop. It's a busy area and you can always hear the buses pulling in and out. We do a mix of architecture and engineering here in Bhagyanagar Colony. It’s a lot of technical stuff, checking beams and making sure the math is right for the structures. We’ve been here in Hyderabad for quite a while now. The office isn't much to look at, just plenty of tables for big drawings and a few computers that are always running. We get all sorts of people coming in, from folks building their first house to others doing bigger projects. We just sit down with them and try to figure out the best way to build what they need without spending too much. It’s a lot of back and forth with the city authorities and the contractors on the ground. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time on paperwork than on actually designing things, but that is just the way it goes. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just engineers and architects trying to get the job done right. We know the local rules and how things work in this part of town. It’s a steady job and we like the people we work with. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up talking about the day’s problems.
