New Citizen Engineering Works

Our shop, New Citizen Engineering Works, is situated at 1-4-730/1, right across from the lane where the Government High School is. Being near a school means there are always kids and parents walking by, but we stay focused on the engineering work inside. We handle a lot of metal fabrication and repair jobs for people in the neighborhood. Our space is filled with welding machines, lathes, and piles of scrap metal that we might need later. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but we know where everything is. The sparks are always flying and the smell of hot metal is everywhere. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone wants to talk to us, they just walk right into the workshop. We’ve been at this for a long time, so our hands are usually stained with grease and grime. We take on all kinds of small jobs, from fixing a gate to making custom parts for a machine. Sometimes the work is slow and we just sit on the stools outside and watch the traffic. Other times, we are working late under the lights to finish a job. It’s a local operation and we like it that way. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just fix things and build things as best as we can.
