Bhagirathamma Engineering Works

Bhagirathamma Engineering Works is situated at 12-5-247/2 on Hp Road over in the Moosapet area. It is a gritty kind of place, just like you would expect an engineering shop to be. We have been here for a long time, and the floor is stained with oil and metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of every shift. The sound of welding and grinding is pretty much the soundtrack to our days. Hp Road is always busy with heavy trucks, so there is a lot of dust that drifts into the shop whenever we leave the big front doors open for a bit of air. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit and wait. Most folks just stand around the workshop while we look at whatever piece of machinery they brought in for us to fix. Our tools are old but they are sturdy and they haven't let us down yet. We don't use any big marketing words to describe what we do. It is just metalwork and repairs, plain and simple. Some days are long, especially when a machine is being stubborn and won't go back together right. We just keep at it until the work is finished. It is hard on the hands and the back, but it is the life we know. We are just a local shop trying to get things done for the people in Moosapet. We like the work and the people we meet.
