Beyond Numerics

Beyond Numerics operates out of Flat-305 in Pakshi Raj Apartments. We are over in Officer'S Colony in A.S.Rao Nagar. It's an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We like it that way because it keeps things relaxed. There is a lot of green around this part of Secunderabad. Most of what we do involves numbers and data, which is probably why the name is what it is. We have a small team. Everyone knows each other well. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs to the third floor. It's good exercise. Our desks are pushed up against the walls to make room for all the cables and servers we need. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially during the monsoon when we can't really use the balcony. We have been here for a few years now. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down. Usually, we are just typing away or having small meetings over coffee. We don't have a big receptionist desk or anything. You just come in and say hi. It is a practical way to run things. We find that being in a residential area makes the workday feel a bit less stressful. We focus on the work at hand and try to stay organized, even if the filing cabinet is overflowing sometimes.
