Bearings & Tools Centre

We are tucked away at 5-5-105/1 in Ranigunj, which is exactly where you would expect to find a shop like ours. This whole area is full of spare parts and industrial stuff, so we fit right in. The shop smells like metal and a bit of grease, which is something we don't even notice anymore, though visitors usually do. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with boxes of bearings and different kinds of tools. Finding the right size can take a minute if it's something rare, but we usually know exactly which stack it is in. It’s a bit dark in the back of the shop, so we use a torch sometimes to find things. The floor is concrete and has a few stains here and there from years of work. People come here when they are in a hurry to fix a machine or a vehicle, so we try to be quick. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some old calendars on the wall and a few chairs for when friends from the nearby shops stop by for a chat. The traffic on the road outside is always heavy, and the noise of trucks is constant. It is a hard-working part of town, and we’ve been part of it for a long time now, just doing our thing day in and day out. There’s always someone coming in with a broken part that needs matching.
