Vara Laxmi Engineering Works

You can find us at Plot No 12 along the Old Airport Road. It is a very busy area with cars and bikes zooming past all day long. Vara Laxmi Engineering Works is essentially a small workshop filled with various machines like lathes and grinders. It is not a huge place, but it has everything we need to get the jobs done. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, no matter how often we try to clean it up. We have been at this location for a long time, and the locals know where to find us. We do not have any front desk or anyone to greet you. Usually, we are all in the back working on the machines. It gets quite loud and the air can get a bit smoky. The Old Airport Road traffic can be a real headache when we are trying to load or unload parts from the trucks. We have a small wooden bench outside where we sit for a few minutes to have tea. The building itself is older and the roof sometimes drips when there is a heavy storm. We just move the buckets around and keep working. We do not have any fancy brochures or websites. We just do the mechanical work that comes our way and try to finish it on time. It is simple labor and it keeps us occupied. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we know each other well.
