The shop is tucked away at 10 148/40/2 in Sai Nagar. If you know Balanagar, you know it gets quite crowded with traffic. We run Srinivasa Cnc Technologies from here. It is a bit different from the manual shops because we have these computer-controlled machines. They take up a lot of space and need a lot of looking after. We spend our mornings setting up the programs and making sure the coolant is flowing right. It’s not just about pushing buttons, though. You have to understand how the metal reacts when the tool hits it. Sometimes the bits break and we have to start over. That is just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just stay busy with the orders that come in. The building is plain, and we don't have a big sign out front. Most people find us because they heard from someone else. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There’s always a bit of a hum in the air from the electronics. We eat our lunch quickly and get back to the machines. It is a steady life. We like being in Balanagar because everything we need is close by. It’s a practical place for a business like ours. We don't worry about being polished as long as the parts are accurate.
