Our workshop is located at A 25 in Balanagar, right across from the IDPL gate. It is a busy industrial patch of the city where there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We have been here for a long time, and the building has some character to it, like the cracks in the pavement near the entrance. Inside, we have our machines set up for various engineering tasks. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We are just a group of people who know how to work with metal and engines. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and checking the schedule for the day. We get a lot of walk-in queries from other local shops needing a quick fix or a specific part made. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big fans running all the time. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the jobs we are working on. There is no corporate polish here, just workbenches, oily rags, and the steady rhythm of things getting built or repaired. We know our neighbors well, and we often borrow tools or help each other out when a job is too big for one shop. It’s a simple way of working that has suited us just fine for years now and we have no plans to change.
