Down in Alinagar, Bahadurpura, that’s where you’ll find our packing unit. The address is a bit long, but once you get into the lane, it’s easy enough to spot us by the stacks of materials near the door. We make packaging stuff, mostly things for other industries to wrap their products in. The machines make a lot of noise, and there’s always that specific smell of plastic or paper in the air. It’s a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in with the other small industries around here. We have a group of guys who have been running the machines for a long time, so they know exactly how to fix things when a belt slips or a roller gets stuck. The floor is usually covered in scraps, but we clear it out every evening before we head home. We don’t have a fancy showroom because our customers just care about the strength of the bags or the boxes we provide. We spend our days coordinating with drivers and making sure the raw materials show up on time so we don't have to stop production. It gets dusty, and the summers are quite hot inside the shed, but we just keep the big doors open for a breeze. It’s a basic operation, focused on getting the orders out to the local markets and factories without too much fuss or unnecessary delays.
