Babu Auto Body Builder

Babu Auto Body Builder is located at Flat No 202 in Sri Vigneshwara Residency but the actual work happens in the shed down near Suchitra X Road. We have been building bodies for trucks and lorries for a long time in Kompally. It is a very loud place with the sound of hammers on metal and the bright sparks from the welding machines. I started this with just a few tools and now we have a decent spot where we can fit two big trucks at once. The floor is always covered in metal scraps and old bolts so you have to watch where you walk. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning just some benches and a lot of heavy iron. My workers are local guys who know how to weld and paint properly. We make the frames strong because the roads around here are very rough on the vehicles. Sometimes the customer wants a specific color or a certain type of gate on the back and we just do it how they ask. It is dirty work and we are always covered in soot and grease by the end of the shift. We don't have a big advertising budget we just rely on people seeing our work on the road and asking who built it. It’s a tough business but there are always trucks that need fixing or building so we stay busy.
