Associated Logistics Services

Our place is located at Plot No 1, Block 9 in Auto Nagar. We are on the floor above Reshma Hotel, so we always smell whatever they are cooking for lunch. Associated Logistics Services is right in the middle of the industrial hub. Auto Nagar is full of garages and heavy vehicles, so there is always a lot of dust and noise. We are used to the sound of engines revving and horns honking all day long. The office is a simple room with some old desks and a few fans. We spend most of our time talking to transport contractors and checking on cargo. Being near the hotel is handy for when we have drivers visiting who need a quick meal. The stairs up to our office are a bit steep. Inside, it's mostly filing cabinets and logs of where our shipments are headed. We don't really have a reception area, just a place where people can stand and talk to us across the desks. It is a very hands-on environment. Most people who come here are workers or drivers from the surrounding blocks. We have been in Block 9 for a good while and know most of the other businesses around us. It is a tough, busy area but it suits the kind of logistics work we do every day. We usually close up once the main truck movement for the day settles down. Sometimes that means staying late to finish the ledger.
