A.S. Precision Engineering Works

Our workshop, A.S. Precision Engineering Works, is located at Shop No: 2-139/2 in Shobhana Colony. It’s on Road No 5 in Balanagar, which is a pretty busy spot for anyone who knows the area. We’ve been running things from here for a good while. The shop isn't very large, so it's usually packed with metal parts and our lathes. We spend most of our time covered in grease or sweeping up metal shavings from the floor. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinding and cutting going on all day. We don’t have an office staff or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working on the machines. We take on various engineering jobs, mostly making specific parts that people need for their equipment. Sometimes we have issues with the power cutting out, which can be a real pain when you’re in the middle of a job. Balanagar is full of places like ours, but we just focus on what’s on our own workbench. Our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need. We don't really do much to promote the place. People just know we are here on Road No 5. It’s honest, hard work and we stay quite busy with the local orders that come in. We just try to get the measurements right so the parts actually fit when they are finished.
